I'm honestly more interested in the new members' past bands, and Vkdb is up but no information yet. :[ I hope they'll announce some upcoming releases soon (if they haven't yet?), and I'm really hoping they'll do more than just an appearance at A-kon, but that's probably a long shot. I'm curious if they'll continue down the Jpop path they were heading down before, or if there will be a drastic change in the opposite direction (though I honestly doubt that). I guess maybe that's a question that could be asked at the convention, though.’

Quite unfortunately, they just let the people raise their hands and pic random people out of the crowd. Thus we end up with questions about sex, or things like "Can I have a hugggggg?" or things like someone reading something with poor Japanese skills (aka none) and written with babelfish. gonk (I so wanted to bang my head against something at that point....)

I really, really wish they'd have us give them written questions so only the good ones would be asked and we wouldn't have to worry about improper, impolite questions. :/ I'll be trying to think of some good questions, though.’

ETA: Oh noes, I got a PM full of bad attempts at insulting me. I didn't realise that pointing out someone's faulty logic/thinking was worth such harassment.

I think the new members look awesome, and that the band as a whole just looks great from the new pictures D:! Yukki = awesome and win, btw. And I am so excited to hear their new stuff! Cause keyboards (*___* *lol*. I totally have a love affair with keyboards. Now that I saw the new members and things I was really excited to see them at Akon, cause because i was just kinda 'eh D:' *lol.
It's too bad they won't perform! I am really looking forward to their new sound.
The band looks so much happier now than they have in a while! and it's not like omgondrugs happy! they look genuinely happy.. *lol

I also dislike those who don't like Yukki because he doesn't look like the typical 'omgkawaiibishiewitrainbows =^o^=' oshare band member. I think his guise is clever and hilarious. If he wants to be different, let him be different. Not every member of the band has to fit the cookie-cutter image you have in your mind. Jesus.

Also, LOOKS DO NOT EQUAL TALENT. If I hear another Wapanese fangirl saying, "HE'S UGLY SO HE MUST SUCK AT PLAYING KEYBOARD!!one!11!" I will rip my hair out. Just because someone is pretty doesn't mean they are automatically gifted with talent in all areas. Anyone who thinks this way is obviously two tacos short of a combination plate.

Besides, it's not like any of them could do any better. I would love to see some of them try to play a keyboard. Oh? It won't happen. Suuuucks for them. lol Either that or they can find another keyboarder who fits their 'KawaiiJiponaizeboi' image and suggest them. Oh? Wow, usually people just assume I'm an elitist b***h cause I'm so blunt sometimes. XD heart I'm really not though, I just get tired of certain types of fans in the fandom and today I've just heard way too many BS complaints about the new members when people should be happy that they announced their new members. Today was another day when the An Cafe fandom showed that 98% of them are shallow face-fans and nothing more. If you want to see what I'm talking about, look at an_cafe community on LJ. It's just.. wow. 240+ comments and only a handful were actually intelligent, level-minded, rational fan comments. :/’

That's what I'm hoping for too. I hope AnCafe are better than ever so it will be proof to some of them that looks DON'T equal talent.

However, it seems that they are the type who don't really care to listen so it probably wouldn't change anything...sadly. I don't think they trust Miku, Kanon, and Teruki. If, say, another member left instead of Bou, would they still complain if Bou actually chose the new members himself? :/

Wow, you're a veteran. XD I've only been into J-rock seriously for about two years although I've been a minor fan for about five. I totally agree with you about the new band member thing. They act like AnCafe will fall apart now that there are two members. Yeah, because Bou = Ancafe's success apparently.

I feel reeeeally bad for the new members. They are going to face TONS of animosity from fans. I even read entries about how some of them wanted to stab them. O__o;
