does anyone know when BUNRAKU is coming out???

i've been waiting like mad for a release date to come out after hearing the release date had been postponed from the original date (july - something or other...)

i keep waiting to hear something and NOTHING has yet been said about the new release date...
i'm starting to wonder if they're even going to have the movie released at all....

Currently there's a time frame of December to June. Only one release date has been confirmed, and that is for Turkey on the 14th of June.

No release dates for other countries have been confirmed as of yet.

wonderful.... oh well... i guess me and my friends will be taking a road trip to Turkey this summer...lol...

thanks for the reply...

Haha, np~

Fuka the great
Let me say this much, this thread is so going to die, if you haven't noticed there isn't anything really new to talk about and his music isn't that great in fact it's forgettable, and Gackt is just another musician nothing he's done stands out in my mind as being, "OH hey look Gackt did that, how original!" So please allow me to make a few predictions.

1. This thread I give about a month of being on topic and in that Month only maybe 20 pages at the most.

2. There will be less regulars. I'll still show up and I'll do some of those monster post for ya'll.

So if you wanna see me I'll be at the old thread that was banished to the Chatterbox, but good luck with this one.

FAIL.

Yeah. He did.
His name is Ener.. In fact.. He has his own web page dedicated to "going green" and such.

The name Ener came from energy because he wanted to bring energy to peoples lives.. Or something like that. XD

The new single, ZAN is on pre-order at cdjapan.co.jp.

ZAN is the theme for Samurai Warriors 3, sung by Gackt GACKT. :/
EDIT:
There is also another new single, called Stay The Decade Alive, also on pre-order at cdjapan.co.jp

Stay The Decade Alive is the theme for the new Kamen Rider Decade movie, Kamen Rider x Kamen Rider W & Decade Movie Taisen 2010.

Jesus, GACKT is a speed master with this stuff. No pun intended...though it fit pretty well. xD

Gackt's like...a song machine sometimes. O.o

But anyway...I can't wait to play Samurai Warriors 3. I was excited about it even before I knew dearest Gackt would be doing the theme...Now there's even more incentive! heart
haha after reading through some of these posts, i'm beginning to wonder if i'm the only one who likes Gackt's music purely for the composition of it. He's actually a really talented composer whose music makes a lot of sense (musically that is. lyrically, he's pretty redundant ^_^). When I first heard his music, my initial thought was: wow this guy's vibrato is annoying. However, the music itself was so good that I had to listen to more songs. it took some time to get used to each one of his individual albums because the style changes so much (which is another reason why i like it) but, just by listening to his music, you can tell he grew up around classical music and used to play in an orchestra. i thought he'd be pretty interesting (musicians are all weird, right?) so i read his autobiography. I now understand his style a little more, and it's true, he's a rather interesting person, however, I don't recommend Jihaku (: Gackt's a weirdo.

I'd have to agree with you on some points but not on others~

Yes, Gackt tends to get redundant with his lyrics ("dakishimete" being the most used word in all his songs. >_____<; lol.), but there are other songs -- Ghost, Koakuma Heaven, Dybbuk and Death Wish as examples -- that are quite different. Of course, many of the themes are the same (ie. connecting Crescent and Moon, half of the songs on there are love-related~), but the lyrics do vary from time to time. And on top of that, he uses symbolism~ A lot of symbolism. Redemption, for example. The birds in the PV aren't actually just random birds. xD Each one symbolizes something that fits the theme of the song.

So yes, his composition is extraordinary, but I wouldn't necessarily say his lyrics are redundant.

And I've read Jihaku, but I don't believe it truly applies to him now as it did 6 years ago~ ^ ^;

I haven't been keeping up with Gackt that much. How come Jihaku doesn't fit him anymore?

I would say mostly because of his relationship with Ogata Ken back in 2007, who he said he considered as a mentor and someone who changed his view on a lot of things~ ...Though Ogata Ken passed away a year ago...so...

On top of that he just smiles a lot more than he did before. > -- <
