Alright, I found the thread. xD
Hello, I'm a long-term Fan. You can call me "Cloud."
What got me into him, was some old friends of mine who played Japanese Music,
I loved his voice and music. so you could guess I heard of him back in the day when he was with Malice Mizer. Which is obviously true. *nod* - this happened when I was younger.

With the whole, Sucidal Message in Jesus, that made me upset a good bit, but I am all over it now. I have it on my iPod. x3 Ghost, I am looking forward to. Hopefully this one will be more interesting. ^^ I felt the Video was going a little too far with the "Suicidal message" with in the song. But, I did enjoy it though, none-the-less. I just hope he does not get "blamed" for someone dying.

I am kind of in shock still from being able to find *nine*nine*nine* in a Japanese store the other day and they sold it to me. The import fees were really high, the set was supposed to be 218 or around that, I paid 282 for it. IT did come with the DVD as well. I just got it a couple days ago. I really did enjoy the 06 version of Fragrance. It is one of my favorite songs by him. (although, I liked almost all of them.)

Anyways, I do feel like his English has improved a lot since hearing Jesus. I give him lots of credit for that. ^-^ (Although, I love it when he sings in Japanese more.)

...and I also hate it when they pronounce his name as if it's "Gack-toe". Dude. If you love anime so much and you even watch some of it in Japanese, why haven't you picked up some of the pronounciation? And even in Gackt vids they say "Gahk-toh". Wtf?!

I don't think it matters if a long or short "a" sound is used; Gackt isn't so hot at pronouncing certain English words either, so I don't think he has the right to get offended or complain about it anyway.

A lot of people can't pronounce my own name very well either, especially foreigners, so I'm used to it myself. A lot of times they say "Bett-ha-nay" when it's supposed to be "Beth-ah-nee."

When I said 'Wtf?' It was because people hear the "proper" pronouciation, but they still pronounce it "Gack-toe". No matter if it's actually pronounced "Gahk-toh" or "Gah-koo-toh".

Trust me, I know how to pronounce the Japanese language.. definitely more than enough to know that they aren't even paying attention to how it's pronounced.

edit: Yeah, I know what you mean Akito.
But these so called "fans" "love" him so much and they can't even pronounce it right...or at least say something close to how it's supposed to be said.

...maybe I shouldn't care about it. hahaha
