Music music music...how does any fanbase manage to choke up thousands of pages just on music discussion. I can't even do 2 pages for X Japan's. Well, Saying "his music was better when he was in malice mizer" isn't very accurite seeing as how Gackt didn't write Most of the Malice Mizer music. Also, that might be a good reason as to why I find Malice Mizer music at least more interesting. Gackt's music fails at catching my attention for the most part because most of it just sounds like the same drama pop that I've heard him do over and over again. I am not impressed with repetition.

Why is it that eceryone feel the need to create a character in Gackt's likeness? It's getting really old now. Old news, yes I know, but why make a character in his likeness again for Final Fantasy VII: Dirge of Cerberus when they shamlessly did it for Cloud in Advent Children? neutral

It's not really EVERYONE. Tetsuya Nomura is a ******** gackt fanboy. He probably creamed in his panties when they got Gackt to be in Dirge of Cerberus. (Chipmunk face...) HE's the retard in charge of it all, now that they've given Hironobu Sakaguchi das boot. HE'S TO BLAME! LET'S LYNCH HIM.

I still don't know what people were going on about when they said that Nomura made Squall in Gackt's likeness. They don't look at all to me, but whatever. I like Nomura a lot, but I'm getting wary with all of this Gackt stuff. This is the third time he's been accused of this.

I like it better when Gackt just puts out his music. All this other stuff just makes me even more wary.

Well, yeah, his voice did improve in his solo career- if you do something long enough you're going to improve, no?
But while his voice improved, his music/lyrics just kind of... didn't make it(he didn't have Mana's almighty cross-dressing self to guide him anymore rofl )<---ignore that. Anyway, especially the lyrics. There are a few songs that he has produced that have really caught my ear. But lyrically, they are all pretty much romantic or about Kami, from what I can tell. It gets annoying after awhile. (besides, I've never been fond of the romance songs. They're all so fake.)

I, myself, believe his voice has currently gotten worse than how it was while he was still with Mizer. But, I DO agree that at one point, he was at a level above what he was at earlier in his career.
As much as I prefer MM to Gackt's solo music, I still enjoy it. I'm a sucker for the romatic crap, and as far as Kami goes....I beleive that was probably one of the hardest moments of his life. The two were pretty damn close, and he didn't find out about Kami's death untill long after it had happened....I would be extreamly shocked too....he probably is still struggling to get over the whole thing.
