ナイトメア(said naitomea) started in 2000 by Hitsugi (g) and Sakito (g). The first members were Hitsugi (g), Sakito (g), Ni~ya (b), Yomi (v), and Zannin (dr). At that time, the band went by the name Nightmare (instead of ナイトメ&#12450 wink . Sometime later they changed their name officially to ナイトメア. Ruka joined as a support drummer for ナイトメア after leaving a band name Luinspear and has been with them ever since.
ナイトメア put out 6 demo tapes between 2000 and 2001 which are now rare and usually expensive items. On 10.21.01, they put out their first single hankouki. In 2003, ナイトメア went major and released their first Major album on 12.25.03. Also in 2003, they started their fan club ‘China Today’(?). And in 2004, http://www.nightmare-web.com/ , the official website, came online.
