meh, again, i think the visual scene is suffering a slow, cruel, cancerous death. so many pretty bands, not enough GOOD bands.

okay maybe that was a bit much. but i just feel like most visual bands all sound the same nowadays sad

This is the official Nightmare thread o.O It's so small talk2hand I've been out of the music loop for too long.

In any case, I've heard people complain that their new album lacks the traditional 'Nightmare sound', whatever that means, but I think it's great. I haven't found a song on it yet that I don't love, the WORLD being my favorite.

And the photobook version looks great, save for Sakito's new hairstyle '______'

IMHO, Sendai Kamotsu is also musically better than Nightmare. They have more variety in their songs. ^^

Why does it matter how many pictures you've seen of a band? I've gotten into a lot of the bands that I love because of how they looked...that's really the only way I would have found bands like Malice Mizer, Lareine, D, and Phantasmagoria. I thought they were beautiful and interesting so I wanted to listen to their music. However, the looks of a band has nothing to do with how good the music is. There were bands that were so attractive but their music, in my opinion, wasn't very good at all. I think looks play a part in sparking your interest in different bands, so I don't see why it matters how many pictures you have or haven't seen of any band before you listened to them, as long as you like the band first and foremost for the music they create.

I love Naitomea!!! Just in case no one knew this already...

I've heard people complain about that, but after listening to it and working on the lyrics, I dunno where they get it from. It sounds just like all their recent stuff does. I wish they'd had a heavier song in there, but it still had the nightmare-style to it, in my opinion. I want to go see them live so bad.
