My first song was "Thumbs Up" by Crispi Crunch, I heard it at a con back in 2012.
At first I thought it was ridiculous/funny, and then I started searching around and got into MBLAQ, SHINee, and then BigBang, and have been a huge fan since!
I have been listening to k-pop music for about two years now.
I started listening to japanese music before listening to korean music.
I have been listening to japanese music since I started watching anime...so about ten years.

I first listened to kpop way back in..2008/2009ish?! Went on hiatus for a while, but I'm crazy over it once again!
The first song I ever listened to was 'Lies' by Big Bang or 'Tell me' by the Wonder Girls, which was such a great song, but it was 'Haru Haru' by Big Bang which really got me into it. It was so catchy! What makes it great being a kpop fan for a long time is to see all these groups evolve!! 4laugh

BoA is Korean...she's both a Jpop and Kpop singer (mostly Jpop nowadays...still waiting on her Korean comeback. She hasn't released a Korean album in 2 years since 2012 when she released Only One).
I think I started listening to Kpop when I was like in middle school,
rolleyes and the first artists I listened to were Lee Hyori and 1TYM, and then came BigBang, and then 4minute, and all the rest in my playlist...gonkroflgonk
I started listening to Kpop when I was in maybe my freshman year of highschool and now I'm in my early 20s. I discovered Kpop on a person's profile on here, Big Bang was playing and til this day I love me some Big Bang! whee
