Asian Kung-Fu Generation. I'll admit I first got into them from anime, but the songs they've done for anime are just "meh" to me. Other than that, I'm a huge fan, and my favourite songs of theirs would probably be 未来の欠片/Mirai no Kakera and 青の歌/Ao no Uta.

I'm a huge fan of heaps of other Japanese artists, but these guys have been at the top of my list for six years (so since I first began studying Japanese) and counting.

My favourite album by Orange Range is Neo Pop Standard. It was just really different from their previous work and that's why I really liked it.
