Hey there! I'm poisonwavehana, also known as 'Hana,' and you have stumbled across the Cinema Bizarre thread! xD ... I'm sorry, I'm absolutely terrible with introductions [and I'll usually sound like an idiot when doing so =D], so I'll skip everything that is irrelevent and get right to the point.

I started listening to Cinema Bizarre recently, quite recently, in fact, and this band was able to break my four year sole-dedication to jrock and jpop. That may not sound like much, but honestly, a band has to.. really draw me in to get my attention. Cinema Bizarre did this. I listened to all their songs on FINAL ATTRACTION and was surprised when I couldn't come up with anything negative to say about them. The music was stunning, amazing, and addicting. ^^

I basically hang around the international music forum on gaia the most, and I noticed that there was no thread for this talented band. I then decided to form my own so other fans can come together, share information, discuss+promote the band, and add to what was already said. I'll be straight with you - I know almost nothing about Cinema Bizarre other than general information, so I'm inviting others to come and correct//inform me of things I'm not aware of. I want this thread to be built by the fans, not just me. So please, tell me information so I can post it for everyone else to know! XD

Cinema Bizarre is a band that I would love to get recognized more, that I want to learn more about, and that I want to keep listening to. Their sound, their themes, their creativity, and their talent are too powerful to be ignored, don't you think? ;w;

Cinema Bizarre is a 5-man [xD, they're all so young] German pop//rock band with an appearence inspired by a kind of visual kei//romantic-esque style. They released their first album titled FINAL ATTRACTION in October 2007.

·٠ ˚ Luminor = the masculine form of lumina, which is "moonlight" in Latin.
·٠ ˚ Yu = Comes from the mangaka Yugisaki Yukiru, or the author of the manga DN Angel.

If it isn't obvious already, it's Escape to the Stars. XD I named this thread after the song.
I guess.. I love it because it was the first song by Cinema Bizarre I ever heard, and this formed my first impression of the band. If it weren't for Escape to the Stars, I'm not sure I would've ever gave Cinema Bizarre a chance. As aforementioned in the introduction, I usually just listen to jrock [and have been doing so for around four years], but Cinema Bizarre and Escape to the Stars broke this cycle. The sound is unique, alluring, spirited; and the lyrics are written beautifully and seem to have a lot of thought behind them. I have to admit, most of the lyrics appear to only be literal rather than metaphorical, but nonetheless, it's still an amazing song. I've been listening to it on repeat for awhile now. ^^
