Just wanted to post a thread dedicated to old movies (especially movies during the pre-Talkies period, if you managed to watch one other than movies made by charlie chaplin, then lucky you) since I noticed that there's not enough thread topics about it.

To start the thread, my (current) favorite is "My Funny Face" starring Fred Astaire & Audrey Hepburn circa 1958. The oldest movie I have ever watched, (again, other than Chaplin's) is the movie, "I was a mail order bride" (not sure if the title is correct, it's been a while) circa 1948-49.This is just for fun, so you can post as many as you can as long as the terms and conditions of the site's rules are complied. Can't wait to hear from all of you! Enjoy! emotion_bigheart
I am a huge Hepburn fan! Breakfast at Tiffanys, Sabrina, Funny Face, she has so many good ones. My all time favorite is Casablanca

I also love Hepburn too! 3nodding I haven't watched Casablanca yet, but I'll take your word for it and watch it.. blaugh
Its amazing. It has a great bitter sweet love story set on the backdrop of WWII.
I'm not huge on classic films, but there are three that come to mind that I like a lot:

Bringing Up Baby
Singin' in the Rain
12 Angry Men

Mega Mage

My ALL time favorite classic is The Ten Commandments!

I FINALLY sat through the entire movie last year (All four freakin' hours of it), and I gotta say, I am just as in love with it as I was when I first watched it with my Grandma twenty years ago. :3

Trogger's Bride

Heroic Raider

Gotta go with Hitchcock on this one.

Psycho
Vertigo
Rear Window

Some of my favorite movies of all time.
