it didn't scare me, because nothing scary happened.
it was boring as hell, 30 minutes of nothing and then a door moves...that's not exciting, or interesting. honestly if katie didn't have a decent rack i would've just went to sleep. |

I saw it and I found it boring. It didn't scare me, but I did laugh at some parts of the movie.

It was very artistically done...I was kind of disappointed though. I felt that, because it was so realistically presented, it could have been scary if they had just cranked up the intensity a little...but they didn't, and it wasn't.

Actually no it didn't scare me at all. One thing most people don't know is that the movie that was in theaters they tweaked the ending of it so they don't make it out where it tells people what really happened in the ending. the movie is actually based on its true story, the parents of both, Katie F and Mica S sent the video in to the producer. in the real ending Mica is never dragged up stairs nor thrown into the camera, those were paid actors to fill in that part. Katie F was shot by the police and they are really both Dead, this is really true. Hopefully the director will give this information out in the movie they are going to release. also in the ending its a bit longer than what the producers tricked you on. At the end of the movie there will be a picture of Mica and Katie saying "Dedicated to Katie F. and Mica S. also after that picture and that subtitle they will have Thank you to the families for submitting this video in and thank you to the police department for doing this investigation and we are truly sorry for you loss. This was really based on a true story, what you see is what you really get. EXCEPT that fake ending. that was an ending to scare all of you and not freak you all out. like what happened at the time exorcist the movie was out with Linda Blair. People in London were jumping off of building and killing them selfs because of that movie, that movie was banned in the uk for a long period of time. So this producer did not want this to happen to any one so they spoof an ending.. I'm hoping they show the real ending.. Like what i saw.
And yes I do believe in paranormal activity it is not fake, it is real, this is an experience you will once in your lifetime deal with.. |

Can i be honest here, it was not fake this was real.. I so cant wait for the producer to show every one the real ending. the producer spoofed the ending for you all so you wont go home freaked out or scared. This was based on a true story , you don't have to believe me but the movie i went to see did have a spoof in the end that end was not real. What i downloaded and saw the real ending was real. i first didnt believe that this movie was real. but katie f and mica s are really not alive anymore.. both families sent the producer the video and yes its very not that interesting but this s**t can happen to any one and this is what really happened to the people you went to watch in theaters, katie f was shot by a police officer and mica was dead stabbed in the kitchen floor. so yes what you went to see was the real thing, but the ending was edited by the director the real ending has a picture of katie f and mica s saying dedicated to them also a thank you to the families for sending us the video and thank you to the police department for investigating this case and we are truly sorry for you loss. its also funny how that katie girls name is my name.. my name is Katie F as well as hers but its funny how things like that end up... But those people are really not alive |

Steven Spielberg came in and picked the lame "throw the boyfriend at the camera and eat him" ending and that's what's being shown in theaters. The ending you're talking about with the cops was also, obviously, fake. There was an article in Entertainment Weekly with the actors and they broke down the costs of everything, including renting the cop costumes and making the special effects. |

Paranormal is probably one of the best hand-held independently produced films I have ever scene. The scenes that were meant to scare me did scare the crapola out of me! eek But, the ending seems like Hollywood took a giant poo on it. sad Which was very disappointing for a film that tried to establish itself in reality.

Yea it totally scared me. rolleyes
It was horrible; 1. The boyfriend was a complete douchebag. 2. Nothing happened. It was 30 minutes before a door closed and then 1 1/2 hours of them screaming at the dark and crying. Best part of it? The Ouija board. Her: "Don't mess with that Quija..." Him: "CAN'T HEAR YOU, TOO BUSY ******** WITH THIS QUIJA BOARD!" |
