Need Help Remembering This Old Show

I'm on a mission, yet again.
So here it is. I've been reminiscing of my childhood and the things that I saw.
There was a peculiar British (or so I think it was) show dealing with adults disappearing from the earth and only children and teenagers were left alive.
They start to form small groups and live in places like malls and call it their territory; trying to survive. emotion_facepalm
I've only seen a few episodes when I was younger (in the mid-90s), and only seen it whenever I was channel surfing, so I never knew the name.
Curiosity got the best of me and went to look for it online.
Now, I've been searching keywords on the internet and simply cannot find it. emotion_donotwant

Can anyone enlighten me?

There was an Australian teen soap called "The Tribe" that had a premise like that - a virus wipes out all the adults, remake society, etc - they all lived in a mall and called themselves the Mall Rats.
