Not many ppl are familiar with horror from the other side of the world That's why this forum is great cause it gives a chance for all type of movie fans to learn from eachother and discuss films with eachother when others ave no clue what the hell we're talking about. Well allow me to intro - duce some of germany's finest and odd film directors. While some of these films are done on a completely low budget, something about them will attract you to them as they did me.

First Jorg Buttgereit's Classick Necromantik and Necromantik 2, The story is simple necrophilia but there are points in the film that are just bizzare and the endings in both are just hilarious.

Next Andrea Schnass Whom Recently directed Nikos The Impaler in NY the film stared Felissa Rose of sleepaway camp and featured cameo's by Debbie Rochon and Troma's own Lloyd Kaufman. Other titles by schnass include Carl The Butcher, Deep Red, and Zombie Doom which as a trilogy are known as The Violent s**t Trilogy. Whatever title you pick up from schnaas will not disappoint you if you're a gore fiend.

Finally, Olof Ittenbach, Though i've only seen one of his films - Premutos Lord Of The Living Dead - i can assure you he delivers as much blood and gore as does the other directors. Premuots is filled with laughs and packed with blood and head explosions.

All I can say now is ..... ENJOY!!!!

Pretty odd ending to necromantik. Great movie

Yah, someone else familiar with Buttgereit's work. The Nekromantik films are great. His other films( Schramm, Der Todsking) are good too.

i demand and expect quality.

quality time.

Oh, man, I just watched Nekromantik last week! I thought about 90% of it was hilarious and the other 10% was (only) a little strange. The ending had me lol'ing for I don't know how long.

This "Violent s**t Trilogy" sounds mighty intriguing. I'm checking it out! Thanks!

All I ever wanted was to pick apart the day,
put the pieces back together my way.
