This is a pretty old movie, it came out in 1985. Tom Cruise starred in it and Tim Curry played the villain. It's a fantasy movie and the basic premise is: A demon who seeks to create eternal night by destroying the last of the unicorns and marrying a fairy princess is opposed by the forest boy Jack and his elven allies in this magical fantasy.

Anyway, I was just wondering if anyone else had seen it.

I remember thinking it was the live-action version of The Last Unicorn when I was little. rofl
I really need to see it again sometime.

I may be a creep but this puppy sure is cute!

I have this movie...in fact, I have the soundtrack too. This was when Tom wasn't a crazy, and Tim Curry as the big devil guy is amazing.

I loved that movie!

Spam her with love, Gaia!
it was a pretty trippy movie of what i can remeber of it.. and i also think it was directed by George Lucas, don't quote me on that or anything its just a guess

I loved the goblins. Blix's creepy little poems warmed my heart.

"May be innocent, may be sweet, ain't half as nice as rotting meat"

That and any movie with Tim Curry is fantastic.

Is there a contest running on who can produce the most genetically repressed child? For this theory carries much evidence

We don't get such greatness as poems like that anymore!

Seen it, Own it, Love it.
Have the special edition, the director's cut is amazing!
Music from the original is wonderful!

Yes baboons are evil. Anything that would steal your windscreen wipers while waving a red bum in your face is the work of the dark side.
The thing was panned as a failure when it came out. I always kind of liked it. It came out before Cruise was a full of himself idiot.

It was a pretty freaky movie. Great special effects, Tim Curry made the villian (along with a lot of make up) and it had unicorns. Every person I know who was a kid when it came out loved it. Total cult classic.

NO GOOD WITHOUT EVIL, NO LOVE WITHOUT HATE, NO LIGHT WITHOUT DARKNESS.
Or something along those lines.

Tim Curry makes me hot in that movie. He's the only reason I watch it. It's not a bad movie, but Tim Curry is just da bomb.

Haven't seen it but I want to. The first time I saw stills from it, I had no idea that it was Tim Curry.
