I watch Ghost Hunters every week. heart I think really its based on perception like everything else. My perception says there are ghost.

I like how they use science and logic to figure out if a house is really haunted. They don't just go into a house and hear or see something weird and automatically dub it as haunted. They look into everything and do research before they make an assumption....and a lot of their cases they dub as NOT Haunted...it's a lot more realistic then a lot of other Ghost shows.

I hate the "blair witch" theme most shows use now too.. the screaming and shadows in every freakin corner.. I like the idea of trying to disprove what they see as 'a phenonmenon" or "paranormal" first. that way you can deduct that there is no reasonalble explanation to why something is moving on its own... ( yes.. i believe in ghosts. xp ) |

I used to watch it all the time. Then they took Sci-Fi Channel off of basic cable.
What I liked most was that they had at least one guy on the team that questioned their findings. He (I forgot his name) completely believed in the supernatural, yet he stepped aside and looked at things from a logical perspective. I recall an episode where somebody was looking over photographs with orbs, and he said "I can go online and find orb pictures everywhere!" and that orbs didn't mean anything to him. It's so much better than Paranormal State. Paranormal State just gives us a bunch of college kids ready to believe anything they are told without looking at the the psychology behind it. All the people being haunted were suffering from personal and family problems, dealing with change or grief, or just generally unstable. It was nice to see that they were able to help most of these people, but I don't think it had anything to do with the exorcisms. Like the one where they made the demons go away by making the family clean up their trailer. |

I love Ghost Hunters! As far back as I can remember I've had this fascination with the paranormal and unexplained phenomena. I'm skeptical about alot of the stuff out there, but that which has no explaination I find so interesting.
