I made this thread in the main Entertainment Forum, then realized I might get a better response here:

"Chewzy"
I know that this thread is going to end up on the 4th page by the end of today. Nevertheless, I decided to make it.

So, I was wondering if anyone has seen the film 'Forbidden Zone', directed by Richard Elfman (Danny Elfman's brother) and starring Danny Elfman, Susan Tyrrell, Hervé Villechaize and Matthew Bright, amongst others. Please, someone tell me you've at least heard of it! D:

Yay love the forbidden zone!

I need my baby hoo-gies!
That movie's genuinely terrible. But It has music by Danny Elfman and the Oingo Boingo cameo is great. I remember I thought it was the s**t back when I was high school and in my anti-establishment punk stage ... Now I realize I was just really, really pretentious.

Techno fascism-- F*** YEAH!

Been a big fan since they used to run it on MTV waaay back when. Needless to say, I've got it on DVD. smile

Many years ago - the channel couldn't have been any more than 3-5 years old. I think it was before they started running The Young Ones, though.

this movie is simply full of hilarious moments

Did anyone get to see it on tour through the US?
The film was only played at art-house and independent theatres.
They gave viewers a raffle ticket with the movie stub. I won a Richard Elfman signed copy of the movie poster.
Now, it's framed and prominently hanging in the living room.

-revives thread because the Forbidden Zone is cool- Oh, of course I love this movie. cool
(But seriously, I liked it. xD The music... the terrible sets... the plot... xD)

I've got the coffin maker calling every now and then about measurements, wanting to give me a proper fit.

This is the best thing that Scientology has ever produced.

This and Jeffrey Tambor.

I'm not sure how I feel about the movie... I'm not sure I'd be able to watch it again... well, maybe just the part with Danny...
