Faith-based Movies!

So, what are some of your favorite faith-based movies? It can be movies pertaining to any faith. I love the movie bella. I also loved End of the Spear and Passion of the Christ. All three of those movies made me cry. End of the Spear is the true story of five missionaries who were slaughtered by the waodani indians.

I heard Fireproof was good but I haven't seen either of those movies.

Robocop is probably the best movie about Jesus ever made. Pulp Fiction is another good one.

Of course, there are classics, like Ben Hur. The Prince of Egypt, of course, is much better than the highly overrated-but still great- Ten Commandments.

But films like Passion of the Christ are just plain stupid. It's a snuff film starring Jesus. Bella was idiotic too. A Pro Life propaganda film that avoids the issue instead of being about the issue. It's a pretty standard romance with an a poorly plotted abortion subplot. A better movie about the issue, albeit from the choice side, is "The Fly".

Fireproof was good, I hear there is another movie just like that made recently. It's called Courageous. Except it involves a cop instead of a firefighter.
