it's one of those movies everyone needs to see, despite the brutality. you could watch it on mute and still be blown away by how it looks.

Read the book (both versions) and watched the movie. It's all trash, but trash that makes you really think. Depending on your personality, it could completely change your life (for the better or worse, also depending). What I can't freaking stand are these pseudo-hipsters who go on and on about it as though it's the best thing ever and idolize Alex and behave as though it's omg so awesome to worship a character as utterly vile as him. People don't see how ridiculous they are when it comes to this book/movie.

I love A Clockwork Orange. It's a fantastic old film. I think watching that movie really made me love Malcom McDowell. heart heart

I would not call it obscure. I mean it is a Kubrick movie, and it is one of his better known ones. The flick is freaking brilliant, though, as his movies tend to be.

I thought this film was a classic hahaha Wow …. I wouldn't think it would be considered obscure. The book is amazing and Kubrick by default is a VERY well known Director. I have got to say that it is one of my favorite folks and books.
