Fantastic Planet is the strangest movie ever created. You don't believe me? Watch it. It's quite literally the weirdest movie...ever created.
Also, watch Freaked! That movie is pretty funny and really... really, weird.

Gozu is both incredibly bizarre and disturbing. There's also The Holy Mountain, Arizona Dream, and Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead, but these aren't as dark.

Paprika is extremely surreal and has a few moments of 'Whoooa, what just happened??'. I'm not sure if it's exactly what you're looking for but it's a good watch anyway.

Yeah what she said, but watch Battle Royal and Oldboy. Both in subtitles but really worth it. Also try Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas. An American classic

VERY good movie. Made some time ago starring Tim Roth and Gary Oldman in the roles. Cleverly done.
