To be fair, with two seasons and many backgrounds of the main characters explored, it might have been for the best. I'd rather things get cut short while it's good than have a series drag on and on until it falls into stupidity and overall silliness.

I have not seen Firefly yet, although I have the DVD's but my favorite that got cancelled is Veronica Mars.
It ended after the third season right when she was about to get out of College and start working!
I want to know what happens!

Firefly. Cancelled half way through the season but it had everything that you could wish for in a series.

I was about to say that! Lol. Great show, interesting concept, completely under-rated by stupid producers/executives.

Ditto. My cousin very cruelly started showing me the DVDs and let me get attached to the characters without warning me that there was only one season!
