Hi, I have a question...

I remember a song that was perhaps NIN in collaboration with a rapper that had the lyrics "I want to split you in two...say boom!"...what was it called? Is it even a NIN song?

Not a NIN song. I know Trent remixed songs for other artists, I have a folder somewhere on my external at home with all of them, but idk if there's a song in that list with those lyrics. The only Trent + rapper colabs would be: Saul Williams (The Inevitable Rise and Liberation of Niggy Tardust) and EL-P (Flyentolody).

Yeah, it's probably a remix, it has a NIN sort of sound so whoever gave it to me may have thought a similar sort of artist was Trent. It was called something like "pretty little b***h" and contained that as a lyric. I've tried searching for it and nothing at all comes up. Whatever it is it seems obscure.

I found it, it's not NIN so my friend must've mislabeled it

Well, NIN is on a touring hiatus, and Trent either isn't working on new NIN yet, or he just isn't telling us. Either way, there's no news on NIN, so there's not really anything new to talk about.
Trent's working on the soundtrack to The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo right now, and plans on having a new HTDA release out... I think next year? Someday we'll get the The Fragile Deluxe release, after Interscope quits being douches, and someday we'll see something from the Wave Goodbye club tour, probably also when Interscope gets with the program and lets Trent do s**t with is own work.

Yeah i was starting with the downward spiral era (march of the pigs!) (hints the red pants and fishnets) but they really didnt have any good options for his hair.

Yep, we can expect to see new HTDA this year (and talk of a possible tour, though with 2 babies idk how) and probably new NIN next year (he said he doesn't want to put out a quick album like The Slip or Ghosts again, and wants to go back to spending a lot of time on the next album).
