Phantogram is a cool band. They're kind of boring live. They have some weird images projected on the backdrop and stuff. I think I would have enjoyed them a lot stoned, but sober I was kind of like, "Ok... Where do we go from here?" And there was a really bitchy lady behind who got mad because I stole her spot or something except that she was like two feet behind me and probably should have just gotten over it because it was in no way "her spot".

Saw them in concert a couple months back, loved it! I actually found them way better in concert than on their album. Dig the trip hop influence. My favorite song is "When Im Small".

I find Im more and more becoming partial to the newer female vocal indie pop stuff coming out, be it the witch house/chillwave, shoegazer influence or electro.

Love Crystal Castles too, saw them twice last year.

Haha, sorry man. You shoulda told her Urban Outfitters is giving away free PBR in an owl cozy and to go away. The show in my small town was strangely sold out, usual mix of just-off-work business people and midtown hipsters. Surprised how well known they've gotten!

Yeah, I was at a really old-people friendly venue, so there were a lot more 40+ year old people than I'm used to, and a lot of them seemed to not understand how concerts work. Some of them had lawn chairs (it's an outdoor venue) in the middle of the crowd and stuff. It was kind of weird. I felt like everyone but me was either on some sort of hallucinogen, was 40+, or was a hipster that felt like they were seeing an "indie band" that "no one else knows about".

They have blown up recently. They're album's gotten really great reviews and they did a festival circuit last year, so they've gotten a ton of good publicity, which is nice.

I love Phantogram and I thought they were great live! I definitely like their new EP, but not as much as Eyelid Movies. My favorite tracks are When I'm Small, Don't Move, You are the Ocean, Make a Fist, Mouthful of Diamond, and All Dried Up. Awesome band.

"When I'm Small" is good. It interchanges with "Mouthful of Diamonds" as my favorite Phantogram song.
