That's absolutely poor. I didn't know they did those things in the US. Where I live in the Caribbean, you could work a temp job and be sick or late or leave early many times and not get fired. I mean you lose a little bit of salary but you don't lose the job. Yikes, that's just awful. Those people seriously lack compassion.

Looks like I won't be eating at Subway anymore. There's a good sub-shop down the street with identical prices, I think I'll go there instead.

To make matters worse, these people work for minimum wage, which is $7.25 in Texas. I can't wait to see how the company plans to redeem themselves. Maybe they pull a KFC and try to derive a hoax theory from this one too, so they can deflect blame.

Having someone work while vomiting is a major food safety violation. I would be surprised if that location is allowed to stay open.

Big time it was major food safety violation . I work in Retail/Food and work with Toys, Health and Bueaty and food products. I have to think ahead. If I feel like I'm going to loose my cookies either I call in or I tell management. They will tell me to rest in the break room for an hour. If I don't feel well by then I can clock out. My management tell is good about that.

Urinary tract infections except that mine were way worse than normal ones. Now I have to take an antibiotic daily for the rest of my life to prevent them. whee

Daily antibiotics... better keep tabs with the doc on length of treatment, or drug-resistant types will find sanctuary.
