TRSHE Walter Sullivan
Charlotte Laws is a drama queen.
No, seriously. She's an actress. Also, the wording was so melodramatic it felt like a novel and the fact that she mentions Anonymous is laughable. Anonymous wouldn't help her, and since anyone can call themselves Anonymous, it was most likely a few people who were wronged by Hunter Moore.
Here is your fedora
Honestly a drama queen? The guy posted porn of her 17 year old daughter. She's underage. Hunter Moore posted child pornography considering how young most of his victims were. And the woman who got her face photoshopped on a porn star's body? What about her? Did she deserve that? What about the woman who had breast surgery? You think any of that is okay? Dramatized or not, this is a serious problem. It's not okay to stalk a person and violate their privacy as people. Whether the victims are male or female it's not okay to expose a person like that against their will on other websites and using naked photographs of people without their permission. He drove a van into her drive way multiple times. I think Charlotte Laws had a pretty decent excuse considering this guy was stalking her daughter down and humiliating her. Ruining her daughter's reputation. If this happened to a teenaged boy I would be just as equally upset about it. It's not about drama, it's about stopping people who are targeting people online who are stalking people down and trying to ruin their lives. That isn't acceptable in any social media or websites. These people were humiliated and exposed and afraid they would be the gossip of the town and lose their jobs.
This kind of internet exposition of people is not only humiliating but spreads ugly rumors about these women and get put under embarrassing situations of being labeled a slut. Revenge porn is not okay. When that one guy who posted revenge porn of his girlfriend over choosing a League of Legends character he didn't like it was bullshit. It's childish and there is no excuse for that behavior. Trolling is one thing but this is out of control and is not okay to do. Trolling is dumb but at least it can be avoided. This is unavoidable. It's disgusting and unforgivable. These are real people with real lives out there being exposed on the internet. It's our job to protect the personal lives of people using the internet.
And despite your theory on Anonymous choosing what they do and don't do it all depends on the user. Some members of Anonymous have differing opinions on the subject of revenge porn. Many are against it. Many are not. Some Anonymous members got involved because it was a violation of human rights and was child pornography because some teenaged girls were targeted. It's immoral and it should not be permitted. I am sure the article may seem dramatized to you, but the message is clear. This should not be allowed to happen. To anyone, not to anyone of any gender or age. It's illegal to expose a person's body on the internet without their permission first hence all of the legal documents people have to sign before becoming internet porn stars. They have to give consent first before being exposed online. But these people are different. Their accounts and computers were hacked, some were photoshopped on naked bodies, some were women going into surgery. This is completely cruel and unforgivable. It's not okay to defend this. It's not okay to mock Charlotte Laws and what she went through with her daughter. How would you feel if that was your kid? Being exposed online and humiliated to the point where she can't even show her face in public. The poor girl couldn't have a life because of the s**t that was happening to her.
