Please tell me there are not two guys like that.
(well, probably more but I mean two recently caught)

I'm generally more willing than many here to consider "two sides to every story" and all that sort of stuff but in this case I'm thinking some heavy chain and a very deep lake or sea would do just fine.

PS - For those that want him dead - unless he is kept in solitary they may have just given him a death sentence. In prison baby rapers are usually the lowest of the low and bad things often happen to them. Being infamous as the guy who wanted to kidnap, rape, murder and EAT kids can't make you very popular. Someone with some anger to vent is likely to vent it on him.

Hey, somewhat related question. When the authorities find child pornography, do they make any attempt track down the children in it and rescue/get justice for them, if the offender wasn't the one who personally took the pictures? I can't imagine that they just drop it at that point.

Yes, but it's EXTREMELY difficult. They go undercover for months to get to the center of the ring in order to catch as many criminals as possible. You know how small one pixel is? ***** will take a big picture of a magnificent sunset or something and in one of those tiny pixels, they'll hide a folder with thousands of child porn pictures and forward it to all the other ***** in the ring. There was an episode on L&O: SVU where they confiscated a sex offender's computer and it was pure luck that they found it, because they knew there was something off about the picture. Then they sent out a call to everyone on the sender's list and holy s**t, there over 30 rapists and more being dragged in to their office. It was appalling and terrifying to know that happens in real life.

Did you ever read anything? He never turned himself in. The police obtained a warrant to search his home because he had been under online watch for a while by undercover agents. He plead guilty because his a** was caught.
