EVEN IF climate change is a lie, wtf is wrong with trying to take care of the planet we ******** live on?

What if we end up making the world a better place for nothing!?

Today my weather station said it was 82 degrees outside. Bunch of liberal propaganda, of course. lol
Oh lawd jesus not wasted efforts! From the republicans nonetheless, who believe the poor are only poor because they're lazy and want to be.

And nature is for pussies! Clean air? Balanced ecosystem? Harmony between humanity and the planet it lives on? Preserving God's creation out of love and admiration for all the world? ********' hippies.

Inhofe argued that the administration is furthering its ends by giving talking points to "alarmists" who, he explained, are "people who believe the world is coming to an end, and it's all man's fault."

Anyone else get a chuckle out of this considering the GOP's embrace of Christian conservatives, many of whom are also convinced that the world is ending and Jesus's return is imminent?

"He also questioned the idea that carbon dioxide is pollution. If it's pollution, he argued, people are polluting the air by breathing."

Using that logic then s**t is not pollution either because it too comes out of human beings. Surely he won't mind having a lot of it dumped in his yard.
Obviously no one ever said carbon dioxide is not also produced naturally. The argument is that too much of it is being produced and causing problems.

What the hell? I may be a climate change denier but even I find the belief of it being used to control people to be absolutely stupid! emotion_facepalm And it HAD to be the Republicans spewing that nonsense out too!
You have to admit, at least 80% of all the absolute most crazy s**t spewed out in politics for the last 13 years has been from Republicans

It's probably making people into homosexuals, which according to Pat Robertson are responsible for all the recent natural disasters.

Knowing them, they'd probably come up with a crazy theory eventually. Like, say...

The liberals are using a weather machine built by the god-hating scientists that emit radio waves to change the climate and the radio waves are also affecting the innocent citizens of this country. Those waves are causing the people to hear various subliminal messages that will cause the downfall of this great Christian nation and shortly afterwards the world as we know it. Those messages include pushing the gay agenda onto unsuspecting children, letting in all the foreigners so that it will be illegal to be a white, English-speaking straight, god-fearing American, take away all our guns, allow that devil-worshiping atheist Muslim dictator Obama to pass Sharia law to prevent us from using non-organic gluten/sugar/MSG/sucrose/meat-filled products, replace the holiness of capitalism with the evils of socialism and the worst of all-- TAXING THE RICH!!! cat_crying OH THE HORRORS!

A recent caller to Coast to Coast AM claimed to have been part of a team ( he claims he quit when he learned what they were really doing ) under the jurisdiction of the US government who went around the world, disabling ancient, buried weather control devices by way of nuclear weapons.

He claimed that the recent weather instability is directly related to these devices being destroyed, because sixty million years or so ago, the Annunaki came here and planed these devices to stabilize the Earth's weather into the kind of environments we're familiar with and evolved in.

The reason? Because apparently, the US government developed a way to weaponize the weather years ago, but the thing stopping it from working just right is these weather stabilization relays, who, when they notice a surge in weather like this weather control ray causes, they treat it like any other wild weather spike, and smooth it out a bit, make it more manageable.

Apparently, dominating the enemy by conjuring storms is worth the risk of wildly unpredictable tropical storms and tidal waves to a government headquartered less than 50 miles from an open ocean.

It really is more 50/50, but the media tend to not call attention to when the Democrats do it.

To be fair to this guy, there were people who voted for him and obviously don't mind this nonsense. We've pretty much come to expect it from the Republicans by this point. It's not surprising an elected official would say something like this, and it's even less surprising that a Republican would say something like this.

Oh yes, but all the invasion of privacy laws, the marriage laws, the sodomy laws, the abortion laws, those aren't meant control Americans at all right?

No, it must be those climate change laws.

Listen up assholes, you ignorant ******** won. It is too late to stop it, best we can do is adapt. Let us get on with our ******** lives and trying to keep some semblance of civilization while the s**t hits the fan.

Actually Pres Obama has made other choices that hurt the coal mining industry and coal-power. Not sure what his beef is with it.

How does it restrict liberties? Well, coal power is cheaper, so it restricts our spending power (and economists would say that lessens our buying power, and you could say liberty). But I think what he's getting at is our liberty to choose what energy source we consume.
I'd more jump to the "it hurts jobs" conclusion before the liberty one.

Let's be honest -- cows make a hell of a lot of green house gas (methane) and there isn't a cry to lessen herds.

Actually a guy came to my school and told us about global warming and that it'd have to be our generation that steps up to help the planet. Fast forward and he told us we should try to consume less meat ( then producers will produce less meat).
