I know for sure I'm no genius but that seems far fetched. I think there are different families and we aren't all related from the same people. Some people probably believe in god and a man and woman came to Earth but if this was true I hardly think they would've survived. I know I'm just a "kid" but this is what I believe.

Well, I was using the word "related" in the same sense that the OP was using it. We all share a common ancestor, millions of years ago.

That's interesting. According to our mitochondrial DNA we also have the same maternal ancestor.

All life on this planet has a common ancestor.

Since I do not hold evolutionary views, I would have to disagree.

How can you not hold evolutionary views and yet talk about DNA and a maternal ancestor?

What I mean to say is I don't hold the view of, for example, people evolving from an ape ... or something. I do believe in genetic changes over time though.
