I love Mickey Mouse and I am not happy with the changes that were made to my Mouse!! I know that if Walt were alive today, he would not let this happen. I was sooo mad that I even emailed Nintendo and they said for me to email the company that actually made the game to voice my opinion (outrage) but, sadly it did no good, so this house will not have the new Kingdom Hearts game.
Actually, they made Mickey much more like he used to be in the early days...the way Walt originally imagined the character. Mickey has drastically changed over the years. Mickey's current looks and personality that most kids are familiar with is a product of the 1980's.
The creators of this game actually were trying to bring Mickey back to his roots and the entire game is an homage to Walt's early creations. It's also part of the Disney company's attempt to re-brand the character from his current fairly personality-less good-goody image and give him back his mischievous edge he used to have.
