I've been thinking this for a couple weeks now and it's good to know other people are experiencing it. In my opinion as a programmer, I think they coded something wrong in the 'dice rolls'. I've seen FAR too many misses on units with 80%+ accuracy and it's kinda ridiculous.

It's a selection bias really. Unless you roll some 10 million times you can't see the true ratio.

Yeah, I realize that (just didn't know the term for it), I just wish they could make it seem more like actual percentages :/ When you have accuracy above 80%, you shouldn't miss very often and certainly not 3+ times in a single fight.
