I am creating this thread to see what other Gaians come up with!

Name the type of food that it its and why it is healthy for your body?

I have a Raw Vegan Recipe You may like It's Raw Pesto Sauce with Zoodles (Zuccini Noodles)

Pesto Sauce :
Add 2 Tsp. of Olive Oil
1 cup of Pistachios
2 Cups of fresh Basil
1 Large Avocado
2 Tsp Water
(*blend together)

Zoodles
Peel Zuccini
Peel thin slices with potato peeler (or you can use the Spiral slicer)

(* can eat raw like this or heat up in a pan for a couple of minutes on med-low heat)


You can add tomatoes if you like to your sauce as well.

It's healthy because its low in calories and low in sodium. Nothing "bad" about it except the fat from the oil. Feel free to sub in more water instead of oil and double up on the Avocados to get the creamy texture. Enjoy!

Mine would just be oatmeal (not flavored),
with 1 tablespoon raw honey and fruit (either blueberries, cantaloupe, bananas).
Nice and easy to make, yum : )

You can purchase Slivered Almonds at any supermarket. And a hard boiled egg is roughly 7grams of protein.

You can purchase Slivered Almonds at any supermarket. And a hard boiled egg is roughly 7grams of protein.
now, do you eat the egg with the yolk in the middle? or just the egg white

Another Recipe I have is Avocado Deviled Eggs

You boil however many boiled eggs you want
heart Make sure water is cool and have eggs already in the pot when you set in the stove and heat up to avoid premature cracking.
Have one large avocado ready for every four Eggs
Once eggs are boiled to your liking you will
1) Peel the Eggs from their shell
2) Cut the Egg in Half
3) Scoop out the yolk
4) you have Two options here
a) Mash up the avocado and replace the Yolk entirely
b) Mix the yolk with the mashed Avocado
5) Put the Mashed Avocado (or avocado with yolk) in a sandwich bag, cut one corner of the bag, and Spread onto the holes where the yolk used to be

Its healthy if you are watching your cholesterol and want healthy fats in your diet. Avocados are great for that. I then add a little salt, pepper, and Paprika and Im good to go.

It's really good! Also it cuts out so much fat and oils by subbing out the Mayo in regular deviled eggs. I'm not a big fan of Mayo and I adore avocado and gave it a try. I was pleasantly surprised.

It's really good! Also it cuts out so much fat and oils by subbing out the Mayo in regular deviled eggs. I'm not a big fan of Mayo and I adore avocado and gave it a try. I was pleasantly surprised.
