I've been going through a website database full of quick, easy recipes today and I've been making recipe cards for all the ones I think would taste yummy, and I'm gonna laminate them, hole punch them and make a little recipe book to put in the kitchen somewhere.

Help me fill my little book!

What are your favorite recipes?
List ingredients and instructions on how to make since I'm a novice in the kitchen haha

Thanks!

And if you want to take a gander at the website yourself, you can click Here. A nutritionist gave the website to me to check out since I don't cook as often as I should, especially being pregnant, I need to learn to prepare healthier foods. You can search for other foods, but I find this site rather not user friendly and a little confusing, so the link goes directly to the page with the recipes with the highest ratings.

Any recipes? Hmm?
I like to make a recipe that's pretty easy.

Servings: 1
Ingredients:
1 cup of wheat pasta
1/4 cup of white onion, chopped
1/4 cup of bell pepper (any color), chopped
1/4 cup of cucumber, sliced
1/2 package of fajita chicken

1. Boil water for pasta and cook pasta until tender.
2. While pasta is cooking, cook vegetables and meat (make sure the chicken is completely cooked, otherwise you'll get sick).
3. Once the veggies and chicken are fully cooked, add the pasta.
4. Plate.

Sounds really yummy ^_^ Any seasonings or sauce on that?

Ooo, this makes me want to make one too. <3
If you are planning on a personal recipe book, I might suggest you put up a few backup recipes for parties, in case you find that a friend or family member has an allergy or turns out to be coeliac. My boyfriend was told he is allergic to wheat back in December and free-from foods in the supermarket are horribly overpriced so I take to experimenting on my days off.

Here is a nice collection of recipes ranging from starters to desserts that are wheat free. For extra info check the dietary checklist on the top. There is a white chocolate cookie recipe here made with rice flour instead of wheat flour.
You can download recipe e-books online and copy the recipes you like into your cookbook.

Bashful Streaker

This is super easy and good. One of my favourite foods.

Vegetable soup (3 servings)
- 3 potatoes
- 2-3 carrots
- Onion
- Spices or spice cube for vegetables
- low fat cooking cream

Chop veggies and put those in 6dl of boiling water. Boil for about 20-30mins so that they are not raw anymore.
Pour water out, add cream and and mush the veggies into a smooth soup.

Put some cottage cheese or sour cream on top and enjoy.
