I'm trying to cutting down on my sugar intake because my dad is close to getting diabetes and I'd be next if I don't get it together. I've been exercising alot more and I've been cutting down on my sugary foods already but the breakfast smoothies are hard to give up. I'm also lactose intolerant so any help would great. Thanks in advance. biggrin
Just pour a bit of milk into your blender with whatever cut up fresh fruit you have.
It's really not a science.
I like strawberry smoothies.
Pineapple, banana, or blueberry all pair well with them.
& blueberry peach is good!
try some almond milk in your smoothies, along with one whole banana for texture and strawberries and/or raspberries. any fruit can go into a smoothy. be adventurous with your favors, and if you want some protein in your smoothy try a spoon full of smooth peanut butter.
