Rules & Guidelines for Posting in the Healthy Recipes Forum
* When posting or commenting in this forum, you will do so with respect and consideration for other members. Given the challenges people face in getting healthy, abuse or negative comments can really negatively impact a person, so any malicious, hurtful, and negative/hateful comments are not welcome and will be treated as abuse.
* This forum is for all Gaians seeking to improve their lives by getting healthier and happier. By posting in this forum, you agree to respect all races, ages, genders, sexual orientations, religions, sizes, and different abilities. Everyone has something unique to offer, and if we open our minds and hearts to different ways of being, we can learn new perspectives and skills we might not have had the opportunity to learn before. Racist, sexist, ageist, homophobic, anti-religious, anti-atheist, sizeist, and pejorative comments about people with physical challenges are not welcome here and will be treated as abuse.
* This is a forum about getting healthy, not celebrating unhealthy activity. Pro-anorexia, pro-bulimia, or pro-obesity content in any form (e.g. posts, threads, links to other sites, posts of or links to pictures/videos etc.) are not allowed in here. These are serious medical conditions for which one should receive medical attention, and such potentially harmful topics are not in line with the aims of this forum and will be removed. If you do suffer from any of these conditions, please contact trained medical professionals to help you deal with the issue and get the help you need.
* Some of us will be trying to lose weight, gain weight, or maintain our current weight. Some of us will just be starting out on exercise plans, and others will be veteran athletes. Regardless of where we are at on our individual paths to health, members of this forum will recognize that we are all different, and will not belittle others who might have challenges or skills different from ours.
* There are a variety of different healthy eating lifestyles, and a cornucopia of recipes which people will want to share based on these lifestyles. Some of you may be vegan, some may be vegetarian, others might eat meat, and some might eat only meat! Regardless of our belief systems, we will be respectful when posting our recipes or commenting on the recipes of those posted by others. We are here to discuss great recipes to help us get healthy, not debate whether or not eating meat or vegetables is ethically and/or morally remiss!
