i know its kinda messed up to fine people but its really whats best for them to have insurance so they dont go bankrupt god forbit something crazy happens like cancer or just a silly trip to the er. this is totally random but you know you can get a ticket for falling asleep on the train in nyc? you know y? alot of people who fall asleep one the train get mugged or raped when they wake up. its kinda mean to give them 100 dollar ticket but its really to help them
You can't compare a ticket on a train to this, seeing as how that train is owned by someone and CAN be considered private property seeing as how someone did pay for it and they do have a right to do that. Now if it is a public train, paid for by taxes, then that still isn't wrong. Seeing as how you don't have to sleep on the train nor do you have to take it in the first place. This bill will essentially fine your life, a given right to all and it is yours to do with as you want, and they will fine you for not wanting to insure it. That is why I see it as wrong, other then the fact they are forcing you to buy something or pay a fine. Again, a life is a right, cars are privileges as well as other things, they will fine you for your right, you can't really justify that. 'Oh, it is for them' ((most used argument)). Okay, your point? It is your right to live a life how you want and no one should be allowed to dictate your decisions in any way. If they do, that is a dictatorship to do that, whether negative or not.
By the way, I'm not personally attacking you but rather the idea and bill, so please don't feel as if I am attacking you. I know I get rather aggressive and assertive in my debates and arguments, people around me have to tell me to calm down usually even though I am calm but other people get well...scared because they feel I'm lashing at them personally. Just wanted to make sure you know it isn't personally against you ^^
