There is no, nor will there ever be cure for cancer. Cancer is not a virus or disease, you can not catch or give it. Cancer is mutation of you own cells. When your cells divide and reproduce, sometimes mistakes are made when the DNA copies it's self and the resulting cell no longer works, it's just a lump of useless body stuff. The only way to fix this problem before the retarded cells kill you, is to remove them with surgery and chemo but since cells are so tiny, there is no guarantee you can get them all. You will NOT find a cure on another planet, the money is better spent keeping your friend's mom alive through chemo.

The Space program is not going to suffer from the health care reform, instead taxes are going to increase and the money to treat everyone will be coming from hard-working Americans.
