And yes, I have horrible health problems but I somehow have to pay for them all of my own accord. This bill will do nothing for me other than take more money from me when I'm already struggling to make it on my own.

Why are you only a house keeper to begin with? If you failed out of school, nearly every state has a way to get your GED. Most unemployment programs now offer basic computer classes and even certifications for little to no money to help people get back into the work field.

no, you're right, i dont get health insurance, but this bill makes me feel more threatened than happy.

The bill was for people like you, in the future those who suffer such low pay, and a boss or company that won't give insurance you can know you won't die if you suddenly get ill or bankrupt if you need an ambulance. Don't let the fear tactics get to you! Not to mention low wage earners are going to be taxed the least if at all.

I would go with the second option. But if she's able to figure out how to get on gaia and read things here -- I'd assume that someone would tell her she can get help or she'd try to Google about it.

When I was looking for supplemental to my Financial Aid I dug deep into the tubes of the internets to find what I needed. All it took was a little common sense. There are too many self-help sites and wiki-hows to not figure out things like that.

Dunno, you'd be surprised what people use the internet for depending on how they were raised or who their friends were.

It was crazy when i remember that although teens know how to use facebook and twitter, many still have no idea how to use google efficiently or just.. do much on the internet other than their comfort zone. Never over estimate how many people know how to use google to find things, or that people even think of looking for things on google other than school reports.
