I am curious as to what you all think about health care reform. Healthcare reform is basically the government making everyone buy healthcare. They are also doing away with medicare, which provides healthcare specifically to the elderly. Now this does not mean your poor sickly grandma will be denied a claim if she needs some kind of operation or something. Now republicans are generally against this. We believe forcing everyone to buy healthcare is giving the government to much power, and that it is breaking the constitution. Democrats generally think this will be a good thing, because then everyone will have healthcare..... So what do you think? is this a win or a fail?
first of all: where'd you hear about them canceling medicare?
i'm pretty sure it's EXTENDING medicare coverage

personally, i think the new healthcare reform bill isn't enough
and everyone hates it because they automatically assume that it's universal healthcare
when it's far from universal healthcare.

however, the healthcare bill in itself is positive, i guess.
i mean, in reality, it has barely any effect on the common american.

while it "forces" everyone to have some for of healthcare, most people already do.
plus, if they don't, either:
a. they're in the income group that gov'ment healthcare for poverty was extended to
b. their employers now have to give it to them
or c. they can buy it cheaper from the gov'ment.
meaning, they really don't have to do s**t to get coverage.

for positives, it benefits:
1. those with pre-existing conditions
2. people who were near the poverty line
3. people who have b***h employers that refused to give them healthcare

i mean, the only groups it hurts are:
1. capitalistic bitches of insurance companies
2. people who like to tan (i.e. idiots)
3. fast food restaurants (calorie count enforcement that really already existed so idk)
4. idiot teenage girls who can't use a condom right
Just a thought;

A young man cut off his ring and middle finger at work,

IN AMERICA;
He had to choose which finger he wanted (not both) For a price between 11,000$ - 19,000$ WITH Health care insurance.

In Canade;
He had to choose between Both fingers, or Both fingers... FOR FREE!!!!!

Just a thought you can ponder on.
i think this crap is retarded
i think this crap is retarded
Healthcare reform= win. Nuff said.
