Clear cut and to the point

What I can't understand is how everyone is just playing partisan politics in regards to the health care bill. Democrats are breaking their arms patting themselves on the back for a terrible bill, and Republicans are frothing at the mouth and screaming about socialism and all kinds of -isms they know nothing about.

Why is no one actually focusing on the bill? Is everyone just playing the game, treating politics like it's competition? This isn't football, and politics aren't just two-sided or black and white.

It is just ridiculous that state that our political system is in you just about can't have civil discussions without someone getting angry (it has always been this way), but it just seems really pronounced of late.

It certainly does seen worse. Some people will refuse any reasoning or fact that goes against their own convictions. Really it's rather egotistical that we consider ourselves above logical thought.

The bill has it's merits, but leaders are so busy arguing that they do not stop to think critically and fix the problems.
