Working Out: Solo vs Partners

I like to work out by myself, just me, my music and my world.
I feel I accomplish a lot more on my own versus having a gym buddy.
I tend to do a lot of weight training

How about you guys?

Do you prefer to work out by yourself or with friends? Why/ Why not
Do you have a personal trainer? Have you considered getting one?
Do you take classes?

I also prefer working out by myself. Exercise is an escape for me, either on the elliptical or treadmill- mostly because I don't want to think about what I'm doing. And considering how I'm trying to make my workouts more intense, I would think holding a conversation would really difficult.
I don't have money for a personal trainer, so no.
No, again, I don't want to think about what I'm doing, and I don't want to have to follow instruction.

> Prefer to work out on my own, but doing my own workout with friends around sounds more ideal. Trying to keep pace with other people can be a bad idea. Either they're too slow or too fast for you, and that just ends badly. I think there's something to be said about some sort of companion when exercising, however, even if you are just in the same gym, but don't even touch the same weights.

Both. I can focus the same with both once I'm listening to my music. If the person is talking all the time and distracting me, then I can't.

No because I don't have the money and I don't like being told what to do lol

No, can't afford to plus I travel often.
