OCTOBER WEIGHT LOSS CHALLENGE! NO SWEETS UNTIL HALLOWEEN!

Do 2 sets of 50 EVERYDAY. (1 set in the MORNING when you wake up, and 1 set at NIGHT before you go to bed!)

50 of EACH PER SET; Squats and/or Leg lifts (Thighs & Butt), Crunches and/or Sit Ups (Tummy), Lift weights and/or Push ups (Arms)! Go for a 10-20 minute run too! Keep that heart rate up!

CARDIO~ RUN, JOG, DANCE! Keep your body moving!

EAT; RAW veggies, Lean meat or fish, Whole grains!
DRINK; WATER, Skim milk, TEA

ABSOLUTELY NO JUNK FOOD! SODAS! COFFEE! SUGAR!

Join me guys! You will only BENEFIT from this! What do you have to lose, other than the weight?! DO IT TO FIT INTO THAT COSTUME! DO IT FOR A BETTER LOOKING, HEALTHIER YOU!

However you should def add some more ab exercises and some cardio. Strength training doesn't really burn much fat, so challenge others to run or something too!

Q______Q I thought the things I listed would work! I made this set list of work outs for myself, but I didn't know they didn't burn much fat! Cardio, as in running right?

You will burn calories, but it wont be very much since you heart rate wont get that elevated. For example, when I am strength training my average HR is around 102-120 (120 being extreme), but when I run my HR is around 155-165 (but I am also in shape and athletic so my HR remains pretty low) You should aim to have a higher heart rate!
You should have about an hour of cardio 5 days a week to start seeing change smile

Well no matter how many crunches or squats you do you wont shed fat unless you are in some way burning calories (through diet or cardio but both will allow you to see best results) so it is good you added that into your routine!

Did the usual work outs, didn't run today. Tomorrow morning as 6:30am, Im jogging with my gf to the park, and running up the stairs! Mon/Wed/Sat/Sun she doesnt have school, and walks the stairs with me. So the park is...7-8 blocks away, and there is 3 GIANT sets of stairs going up the side of a hill. A lot of people walk up, and down those things.
