How far is the hospital?

I broke and called my friend yesterday. He took me to the hospital. I have a severe sinus infection on top of the ear infection. Yay me. I've now got medicine for it. It got to hurting so bad yesterday that I couldn't take it anymore.

I feel really bad for you. I can't say that mine was as that bad. Hope all goes well!

I started my antibiotic earlier

Good, good. 3nodding

I'm supposed to take it 3 times a day.

Glad to hear you were able to make it to a doctor. An ear infection like that
really should be treated with medication ASAP; take it from someone who
suffered from numerous ear and sinus infections throughout her life. I have a
chronic ringing in one ear left from a bad infection I had when I was three. =P

I second the hair dryer technique. It won't make the infection go away,
but it (or any kind of heat) helps with the pain. As for the sore throat,
gargle with salt water, and try taking a few spoonfuls of honey.

Glad to hear you saw a doctor and I hope you feel better soon!

As of home remedy I was told to use olive oil on many occasions. Sounds crazy, but it tends to work.

The last time I had an ear infection, my mother put onion juice (that she squeezed herself) in my ear. It cleared up in about a day and I haven't had any ear infections for over 10 years now.
