I poked myself with broken glass on my finger

it bled just barely and healed itself so there's not really any wounds, but i heard if glass gets into your bloodstream or something it's pretty dangerous so should i be worried? is there a way to check if there's glass inside of you?

Anytime that happens to me the glass isnt inside it just feels like it, did you actually see it go in. emotion_8c

I don't think there is a way to check for glass inside you but maybe talk to a doctor.

It happened to me once but not exactly.

Fell on the stairs hand first where someone had lost a glass on the steps. Think I still have a small chunk in my thumb but it doesnt exactly hurt.

Did you see it go in? Did you apply anti bacteria liquid or rinsed it? Contact a doctor to be sure.

Just watch it the next few days. If it becomes irritated or start ozing pus of any color call a doctor.

The chances of it getting into your blood stream from a poke on your finger is extremely low
