I ordered some pancakes then in the middle of it, I had a really strong desire for meat. I ate only a little meat and I was satisfied despite thinking I would be able to eat a whole pig.
That's odd. I know a lot of people lose their appetite for savoury foods after dessert. But everyone has odd cravings anyway. Like two days ago, I was craving a veggie burger.

If you're always wanting red meats, it may be an iron deficiency. It may not even be a lack of iron in your diet. The problem may actually be a lack of Vitamin C, which helps in absorbing iron. Try adding some fruits in earlier in the day.

Also: If you're concerned about your iron, I seriously do not suggest taking iron pills. They can be really dangerous for people who do not have an iron deficiency, and until you know for sure that you have this problem, it can actually cause damage to your body at a cellular level.
