When I was a baby, I never really drank my mother's milk; I preferred baby formula. I used to get ear infections all the time when I got a cold & I recently read that children who don't drink their mother's milk are more prone to ear infections. Lately, I've been having trouble with my hearing; I either don't hear a person talking to me or I do, but I hear them "later." It's like the sound gets stuck in my ear. I was wondering if this is bad & if it's caused by the ear infections.
I pretty much had the same problem. Until I was fourteen, I'd been partially deaf! Then, we went to my doctor and he sent me to /another/ specialist. Well, Dr. Waseem set me up with tubes a week later. Tubes! They'd said my ears had calloused over and I'd be deaf forever, but no. No, my ears just didn't drain right.
IF that is the case, if you can get the fluid behind your ear drums checked, then AVOID DAIRY. It causes a lot of inflammation and only increases fluid and mucous build-up.
But if that ISN'T the case, there may be some other surgery, but it would be pretty expensive. The only thing you'd be able to do is use a hearing aid, which can come fancy or discreet. C:
