I've been natural for about 5 years now! I BC'd about 5 or 6 months into my transition and I never looked back. My hair is type 4, I try not to define it by a, b, or c since my hair does whatever it wants. When my hair is blown out it reaches my shoulders though it should be way longer. I had a bad experience after a Dominican blowout and had about 3 inches cut off sad

At this length, I've noticed a lot of single strand knots. To avoid this I've started wearing low maintenance styles like buns or cornrows or I'll get box braids or Senegalese twists.
