Clorox in eyes

Not sure if this is the right forum or not, but hear me out.

A while ago my mom splashed some Clorox in her eye by accident. She said she washed it out immediately, which stopped the burning, but it still " feels like a rock is in it ". She used cold water to wash her eye at first, but then she used lukewarm water.

Will she be fine or should she see a doctor?

I think whenever you get Bleach in your eyes, you are supposed to see a doctor....

You definitely should get her to a doctor or even the emergency room. Something has to be causing it, and it could very well simply get worse.

It is better to go see a doctor , for what i remenber from me chemistry classes , even if she washed it out emidiatly , it could have cause a spontaneous reaction or a bit of it might have gone through her lacrimal vessels and that can cause seriouse issues.

As others have mentioned, it is suggested and advised that your mother see a doctor.
