Those things will definitely help but if you want to see real results you'll have to eat well and do cardio too. Consistency is key, as well as upping/changing up your workouts as you get stronger. If you hate running you can try cycling if you have a bike, swimming, dancing, pilates, whatever, I'm sure you could look up videos for just about anything. Just be sure you're doing the exercises properly so you don't hurt yourself (super important.) Even taking long walks will help. If you just do bodyweight exercises alone without changing anything else your fitness will improve but you probably won't see much visible results.
