Hmm..

Well if you're not seeing the results you wanted, you could always tweak it later on.
I'm getting results, just not in certain areas. I need more muscle in my legs, but I think better exercises/form/heavier weights will fix that over time.

Are there effective unilateral exercises you can recommend? My left leg is so much weaker than my right that my hip tends to rotate when I do squats. : / I do lunges and bulgarian split squats and do more reps with the same weight I use on my right.

My left arm is a lot weaker than my right as well, but there are plenty of unilateral exercises I can do to build up my left arm.

You could always do single legged leg presses and leg extensions.
Single leg presses sounds really dangerous for some reason. Haha, but thank you! I'll try them both for leg days. : )
Just be careful that your leg doesn't give out cause the plate might crush your other leg, depending on how you place it.

Thanks! Mine is similar to yours. I'm 5'3 110 lbs. But I cannot for the life of me gain muscles. I work out on the eliptical for an hour every day and still see no results! Ive added weights, we'll see how this turns out...any tips?

I don't do cardio. I hate it. : / I do it if I feel like I've been eating badly.
I try not to eat processed foods, and I ship at the perimeter of my grocery store. Fitness is 70% nutrition. As for weights, I only workout 3-4 times a week (every other day) for an hour. I always lift weights.

Alternate upper and lower body workouts--something like this:

M - Upper
T - rest
W - Lower
TH - rest
F - Upper

I use dumbbells for almost everything. I use maybe a few machines.
I usually do 3-4 sets of each exercise, 8 reps each.
The weight should be heavy enough that you can hit 6 reps, but not more than 10.

Exercise examples (guides for each can be easily found on google):

Main Upper body exercises:
- Variations of dumbbell presses
- Bent over rows
- Skull crushers
- Lat raises

Main Lower Body:
- Crap ton of lunges
- Back Squats
- Bulgarian split squats

Try not to change your routine around too much. Your body needs to adjust. Change it up once you feel like you're starting to plateau.

Hope this all helps! : )

wow! amazing progress! you're starting to look like a badass XD so jealous of your muscle. T.T i've never been fat, but i've always been on the curvy side. i think i've only seen a bit of muscle in my arms back when i was in color guard. i think i'm too fluffy to see any real muscle. DX but i want to try and get fit again.

what's your diet and exercise regime like?

Thank you so much! : )
Seeing progress is so addicting. I just want to get bigger and bigger. xD

I try to eat healthy. It doesn't always happen, as I work, go to school, and my bf eats every unhealthy food known to mankind, but some effort is better than none. xP

I workout 3-4 times a week, for an hour each time. I alternate upper/lower body days to give my muscles some time to rebuild. As far as specific exercises, I actually posted one earlier! : D
