- Would you have joined the DA in 5th year under Umbridge?
If I recall correctly, I either did, in the form of a painting, or I was dead.
Had I been a student at the time, however, I would have joined in a heartbeat.
Ravenclaw tendencies wouldn't have given me a choice.
I mean, really, Ravenclaw may be known as the home of bookworms, but even we know that practical use of spells is the only way to really learn them.

- Would you have joined the DA to escape the tyranny of the Carrow's?
Well, yes, I would have.
But, I'm not going to lie and say it's because I am against the teaching of the Dark Arts.
In truth, I rather enjoyed that, since we'd never had a chance to learn something like that before, and I really don't hold much store in the idea of 'dark' and 'light' spells regardless.
However, I probably would have joined simply because I don't react very well to idiots trying to tell me that their way is the only right way.

- Which is your favourite book? Why?
My favorite book was the fifth, as I've said in my application. I adored the darker themes, and I thought that it was the book that Harry matured the most in. It was also the last book that I, personally, think was any good. I remember reading the sixth, and the entire time wondering if it was a joke or not, because it sounded nothing like what had been written in the earlier books. The last one was just, and I'm quoting from someone or something, though I can't remember my source, a glorified camping trip. Not to mention, it was chalked full of all the things in fanfiction I'd come to hate, and the only good pairing, as far as I was concerned, was the Snape/Evans idea that didn't even work out.

- Who is your favourite character? Why?
My favorite character is actually a toss up. I adore Miss Lovegood, of course, as I've mentioned above. She seemed like the only character in the 'light' side that always stayed completely true to herself, and she wasn't afraid to be different.
At the same time, Bellatrix was gorgeous and an absolutely amazing character. I've always had a fondness for the lucidly insane.
