Hedwig's death was so sudden.
Dobby's death was noble.
Fred's death was a bit sarcastic; he died with a smile.
Colin's death was pitiful.
Dumbledore's death was... expected to be honest.
Lupin and Tonk's deaths were the most brutal; they just had a kid.

What was the saddest death in the Harry Potter books, in your mind. I take all opinions and reject none, as I think all the deaths are sad.

I agree! All of them were sad and hit me very hard but, I think the death of Severus Snape was the saddest for me.

all deaths in harry potter are sad. crying tonks and lupin left behind a baby. james and lily potter died noble deaths, but left harry behind, all alone. fred, the jokester. at least he died laughing. sirius, he was the only family that harry had left. damn bellatrix to hell for killing him. hedwig, she was loyal. dumbledore, he was a great wizard and friend. he was very young for his age. the heart that loves is always young, and dumbledore loved alot of people. also, when they killed buckbeak in the movie, "harry potter and the prisoner of azkaban" at least harry and hermione went back in time and saved him.
i may have left some out, but i am mourning for them too. scream why did they have to die?????????? crying crying crying crying

For me the three most cried characters were
1.Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore. I Cried so much it was crazy. i really wanted to kill Snape when i read this. ( my face was covered in tears when i read how he died, after that i couldn't put the book down)
2.Remus Lupin He meant so much to harry. It really touched my heart they cared so much for each other.
3.Cedric Diggory. (This was before the whole vampire cullen thing. When he was an Awsome Charachter and a respected friend in the HP Series)

i have to say Hedwig, hands down. i understand harry had to lose loved ones, but killing off his inly pet? sure she wasnt a major character, but she was always there, from i think chapter 3 or something. totally unnecessary death.

fred's was the saddest description. i cant remember the exact quote, but wasnt there something about a smile in his eyes? or was that sirius? someone had "the laughter hadnt quite left his eyes" or something to that effect.

im half a state (and that state is texas, so its more like a state) away from my books sad
